Condition Guidelines

Every item that is sold by Boxed Returns is quality checked first. We categorize each returned item by the quality of its condition to make your shopping experience as convenient as possible! 

All products processed by Boxed Returns are given one of the following conditions:

New (S)

A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag.

Open Box (A)

An item in excellent, new or like-new condition with little to no wear. The item may have bulk packaging, may be missing the original packaging or protective wrapping, may be in the original packaging but not sealed, or may have damaged packaging. The item includes original accessories.

Used Very Good (B)

An item that has been carefully maintained, experiencing limited use and still in good working order. It may display a few signs of wear, including small scratches or minor cosmetic blemishes. The packaging might be damaged or the item repackaged, and it could be missing some accessories.

Used Good (C)

The item has visible wear from regular use, yet retains its good condition and operates correctly. It might come in damaged packaging or be repackaged and could show marks, identifiable markings, or minor cosmetic damage.

Refurbished (R)

An item that has been used previously and has been restored to new or open box condition.
